Mekong Regional Land Forum 21-23 June 2016
MRLG, GIZ and IPSARD are pleased to welcome you to the first Mekong Region Land Forum in Hanoi, on 21st to 23rd of June.
The Forum is a platform for dialogue and information sharing on key land governance challenges, experiences and lessons that are affecting vulnerable groups, including smallholder farmers, minority groups and women, and to share solutions for the Mekong Region.
This forum has a specific focus proposing topics in the context of large scale investments and related foreign direct investment policies, particularly agricultural, in the context of ASEAN economic integration especially for Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Viet Nam.
“Does economic integration benefit smallholder farmers?”“Can the future of smallholder farmers and forest communities be protected and improved in this integration context?”
We look forward to more than 250 participants, representing concerned countries and different stakeholder groups: government representatives, academia, civil society, private sector, development partners and international organizations to join this event.

Registration in the CWD lobby opens each day from 7:30.
At registration, you will collect your name badge, Contributed Abstract Book and Forum Program. Please wear your name badge for your entry into sessions and all other conference activities.
The colour of the badge worn by the person indicates their category of participation.
Red: VIP and speakers
You will be issued with lunch tickets for 3 days of the Forum and an Invitation to the Cocktail Party at registration. Please advise in advance if there is any special dietary requirements.
Accommodation and Transfers to the Forum:
Participants will stay mostly at CWD, Thang Loi Hotel, Anise Hotel, and Santa Barbara hotel.
Shuttle buses have been arranged by Thienha Travel Company from Airport to Hotels (look for Forum signs on arrival after exiting baggage claim area).
Shuttle buses from Hotels – CWD – Hotels. The shuttle buses start to pick you up at 7.30 am from Anise, Thang Loi and Santa Barbara Hotels to CWD, and 5 pm from CDW – to Hotels.
